Law No. 14.541/2023, adopted in 2023, establishes the mandatory uninterrupted operation of Specialized Police Stations for Women (Delegacias Especializadas de Atendimento à Mulher) in Brazil. These units must provide continuous access to police assistance, as well as psychological and legal support to women victims of violence. The law reinforces the availability of trained professionals and adequate infrastructure to ensure comprehensive and effective care for survivors.
